JW638A as HPE Aruba Networking 7000 Series Mobility Controllers that can be deployed as a mobility controller in a branch or access layer deployment using HPE Aruba Networking Central. The HPE Aruba Networking 7000 Series Mobility Controllers can also be deployed using HPE Aruba Networking Mobility Controller software licenses in a campus or branch access layer deployment. In this mode, the controllers cannot be simultaneously used for SD-WAN. In mobility controller mode, the 7000 Series can also participate in HPE Aruba Networking Dynamic Segmentation framework, with a minimum, an access point license and an HPE Aruba Networking Policy Enforcement Firewall (PEF) license for each HPE Aruba Networking access point and switch in the network.
