Access Tunnel Support for Fabric-Enabled APs
Catalyst 9200 standalone and stack models support up to 25 Access Tunnels for fabric-enabled access points.
Catalyst 9200CX supports 25 Access Tunnels for fabric-enabled APs when running IOS-XE version 17.9.5 or later.
Catalyst 9200L is not supported as a Fabric Edge node for SD-Access Wireless.
Catalyst 9200, 9200L, and 9200CX do not support SD-Access Embedded Wireless Controller (EWC).
Note: For over-the-top fabric deployments planning to migrate to a full fabric wireless architecture, these limitations should be carefully considered during the design and deployment phases.
Virtual Network (VN) Support and Stacking Compatibility
C9200-24PB-A and C9200-48PB-A SKUs support up to 32 Virtual Networks (VNs).
These SKUs are not stack-compatible with Catalyst 9200 models that support only 4 VNs.
